That’s why Art 4 Youth, Norwich art school exists – to grow vital access to sidelined art education in the local community and it is free for those students who come from financially disadvantaged backgrounds.
Supplementary art classes for children and young people 7-16 years old
Art 4 Youth Norwich art school is a high quality learning experience for children young people aged 7 to 16, delivered by Norfolk practising artists and art educators in small groups of 10 students and divided into age groups of 7 to 11 and 12 to 16 years old.
The programme combines use of professional materials and techniques, cultivating artistic vision and confidence whilst referencing art history, from old masters to contemporary artists.
Holiday club full of fun and creativity!
Each day offers a fresh exploration of a different aspect of art, working with a variety of materials and techniques. The club comprises inspiring studio drawing sessions, outdoor sketching, and, whenever possible, visits to local museums and galleries. With every day bringing completely new activities and learning experiences, you’re welcome to book for both days to enjoy the full range.

Looking for something creative, meaningful, and fun for your child this summer? Our two-day Eco Art Camp is designed for young artists aged 7 to 16 and runs from 8.30am to 5.30pm – perfect for working parents!
Taking place in August 2025, the camp offers a wonderful chance for children to explore their creativity, build drawing skills, learn eco-friendly habits, connect with nature, enjoy healthy meals, and make new friends – all in a safe, inspiring environment full of ART and ECO fun!
